The family of Scottish DJ Jamie Roy has announced through a Facebook post that the young died last Tuesday night , although no further details have been released. According to the BBC radio channel website, Roy was 33 years old and had managed to make a name for himself in the world of electronic music after his beginnings in Dumfries.
In the family’s statement they remember Roy as a “much loved and talented son, brother, nephew and uncle”. “Beloved by his many friends and colleagues, both within the music industry and beyond.
