Global house ambassador and GRAMMY-winning artist Black Coffee is set to return to the Hï Ibiza Theatre this summer, taking over Saturdays from 27 May to 30 September. This announcement is sure to excite fans of the South African DJ, who has become synonymous with the White Isle over the years.
Black Coffee’s history with Hï Ibiza is long and storied, and together they have become renowned for offering one of the most unique parties on the island each summer. This year promises to be no different, with Black Coffee leading the charge each week with his mesmerising mix of emotional, dynamic grooves.
Joining Black Coffee at Hï Ibiza this summer will be a cutting-edge selection of electronic music artists from the vanguard of the industry, representing the underground in true style. The club’s Club Room will once again be hosted by Damian Lazarus, reuniting the formidable partnership that made Saturday nights at Hï Ibiza one of the island’s most sought-after tickets last summer.
The opening party on 27 May will feature a back-to-back set between the cultured Turkish sounds of Carlita and Italian Life And Death boss DJ Tennis. Other highlights of the 19-week-long season include performances from fellow Hï Ibiza residents and house mainstays The Martinez Brothers, South African selector Themba, all-out techno from TSHA, the original DJ rock star and genre-defiant legend DJ Harvey, classy party starter Jayda G, neapolitan tech titan Marco Carola, and tech house maverick Michael Bibi.
Other exciting acts on the lineup include innovative Danish experimental pop trio WhoMadeWho, the deeply emotional sounds of Innervision’s artist Henrik Schwarz, the voodoo house magic of Bedouin, melodic house duo ANOTR, the colourful disco house of Folamour, a back-to-back between Jimi Jules and Trickk, and Berlin house collective Keinemusik.
Damian Lazarus will once again be transforming the Club Room with immersive production and mesmeric visuals to craft an otherworldly experience. He kicks off the season with a special extended set on 27th May before being joined by an array of special guests throughout the residency.
Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner, the renowned unisex toilets with a DJ booth, will also be back this year with its unique and unexpected clubbing experience and top soundtrack from Ibiza favourite Paul Reynolds.
